About Me
My name is Lee Garry Groen,
and I am a professional writer and editor based on Vancouver Island. I have over five years of experience working with poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction for print and online literary publications.
I have previously been awarded the Pat Bevan Scholarship for Fiction in 2020, the Meadowlarks Award in 2024, and the TouchWood Editions Award in 2025, and my writing has appeared in GOOEY Magazine, Sea & Cedar, Portal Magazine, and The Navigator.
I am currently working on a debut novel, a collection of poetry, and many, many more dreams.
